I have 2 sites running vCenter Server Standard in linked mode with 4 vSphere Enterprise Plus servers. The vCenter Servers use local MSSQL 2005 Express database server and I am trying to install SRM 4.0 using the same MSSQL 2005 Express server with it's own database. I can't find good instruction on how to do this and make it work. I have followed the Virtual How to Install and Configure SQL Express 2005 For use with Site Recovery Manager V4 by Rob Nourse, but still can't get the SRM module to function. Has anyone been able to use a shared MSSQL 2005 Express server between vCenter and SRM?
