I have set the timeouts in nginx's proxy.conf to large values in order to download a large pdf. I suspect that this is not the right solution. What bad result could this have and is there a better alternative?

set the timeout only for location that produces the pdf? – sendmoreinfo Sep 10 '11 at 15:17
