Any good/recommended books on Load Balancing? Say how to deploy a cluster and have a load balancer to help distributing load and scaling.

I'm looking for answers for linux/unix 32 or 64 bits.

Please don't close. I think it's very worthy.

win32, win64, or a unix flavor? – Kris Krause Feb 7 '10 at 15:27
could you tag this as books rather than book? Just for consistency – Hmobius Feb 7 '10 at 17:24

Have maybe a look at the bookstore section on Seems like they suggest these books:

They have lots of interesting posts. Look maybe also at the Load Balancing tag.

While load balancing and clustering are concepts, if you want to set up such an infrastructure, you will need to select a set of technologies. So in a second phase you will then need to find information about the specific products that you've selected...

+1 thanks for your recommendations. – Viet Feb 7 '10 at 17:24
