I upgraded my xampp version to Mac OS X 1.0.1. It used to exist a tomcat plugin availabe also for Xampp-Mac but I cannot find it anymore. Does anyone know if it is still possible to add tomcat to xampp? Directly, I found this pretty good explanation Java and Tomcat on Mac

I don't know, but you can install it manually, and use config files from windows/linux XAMPP archive ;) | |||
