I have just installed WampServer on my Windows 7. When I type my IP address in the address line of my browser I see:

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Can anybody help me to start. In my "c:\wamp\www\" directory I found "index.php". Why server does not display it to my browser?

EDIT: I could see a page if I put "http://localhost/" in the address line. But why I cannot use my IP? And how other computer can access my web server?

This question is better suited to either Super User or Server Fault, but at the moment I can't decide which. – ChrisF Feb 25 '10 at 12:56

Like skilldrick said you need to open port 80 on your firewall and if you're behind a router you must forward port 80 to your network-ip. see
