Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I currently use phpMyAdmin 3.2.4 to monitor and manage the membership numbers for my organization members website. Not to long ago the member numbers jumped from 750 to 1,000,000 just over night? I am not sure how to fix this. I am new at this and I am not that famaliar of how this all works. This working with MySQL database. Also where so I fined on line manuals for phpMyAdmin and MySql?

Respectfully Ron

Maybe this is correct? Is it possible that you've gained 999,250 new members? Or more likely, you've allowed people to sign up without proving they're human, so a bot has got hold of your site, and generated 999,250 new memberships :P –  Tom O'Connor Dec 11 '10 at 23:28

You can find the manuals with a quick web search. Here's MySQL and phpMyAdmin

As for your specific problem: This depends on the software your website is running. Is it a custom application, or one available on the Internet e.g. phpBB?
