Installing BackupAssist or some other non-Symantec product would be an excellent start. – Miles Erickson Jun 2 '11 at 13:58

You should be able to get support with Symantec for your trial, that is if they want you to buy it :) – SpacemanSpiff Jun 2 '11 at 14:07

Is SQL Express installed and running?

I'm using a Sql Server 2008 instance, and I've added the AD account I created to the instance the BEDB database. The SQL Server service is running and accessible (no issue with SQL Server in the installation, either). – dotnetdev Apr 24 '10 at 20:43
