I'm sniffing my current connection, but I have second computer linked to mine with ICS. And my app makes no difference between the two. How can I detect the second one and filter it?

Can you elaborate a bit on the eventual problem you're trying to solve? That is, why do you want to filter out the indirect computer? – mattdm Dec 4 '10 at 22:16

Use Wireshark, or die in ignorance.

-1? What for? Wireshark is well documented and is able to deal with all sorts of filtering, including TTL, which most likely is a key field in this issue. – Andrejs Cainikovs Dec 10 '10 at 19:50
-1 for unhelpful. Wireshark is not designed to detect sniffing. – Squidly Jun 24 '11 at 1:49
Have you even read the question? In fact, you can't detect sniffing. Consider removing your downvote. – Andrejs Cainikovs Jun 26 '11 at 11:31
