I've got a Cisco / Linksys WRT160NL wireless router that supports an external USB hard drive for NAS. I'd like to use a drive I have that's formatted for /ext3.

Is this possible? The Format routine from the router's admin GUI only creates FAT32 partitions which I don't want to use. I've got 4 Macs in the house here and I'd feel better with an EXT3 filesystem.

Thanks for any help!

You can, but not with the stock firmware. DD-WRT purports to be able to do this, though you might have to format the USB drive on another PC.
