We have a single WSS 3.0 SP2 server configured for Sharepoint.

I have been asked to update the password for the IIS 6.0 default users of the IUSR and the IWAM users.

I have found the instructions for the process (http://www.howtonetworking.com/internet/resetpassword.htm)and have tried it out on plain IIS 6.0 servers and it works well.

It did occur to me to check out to see if anyone can verify if I need to update anything in the WSS when I am updating the IIS users? Or are the two users indepentant of the WSS configuration?
