ConnectBot and Wifi Analyser are both great, even if connectBot is more useful on a daily basis.

I've been also using a lot the Citrix client, which I find great and user friendly. With the help of some published apps, an Android can become truly awesome !

  • Decaf Monitor allows you to monitor the status of your publicly accessible server from your phone - your phone does the checks. Will alert you if your website goes down for example.
  • Connectbot because it allows private key based login
  • KeePassDroid because it supports version 1.x and 2.x databases
  • Dropbox because it allows you to sync all your strongly encrypted stuff to your phone
