Hello we are currently rolling out over 300 new machines with windows 7. I have created an image of the models we are using and sysprep has run perfectly and there is random name generated for each machine after sysprep runs. Out of all the machines we've deployed a few have dropped out of the domain. A few meaning maybe 7 machines and a few weeks apart. As it turns out they are dropped out of the domain because of duplicate names on the server. How is this happening if sysprep is setup to generate a random name. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
