Dear Sir I have written a C++ driver for some application of my own. It works perfectly fine when i run it on Administrator account, but on non-Admin user account, it is unable to load driver. Please tell me some settings or suggestion so that i can run the same program under non-admin account as well.

that is by design, if you give lusers the ability to install drivers the workstation/server will be a useless pile of junk in days! –  tony roth Jul 19 '10 at 14:49
What OS platform are you talking about? –  Evan Anderson Jul 19 '10 at 14:49
Why not stackoverflow.com? –  Vi. Jul 19 '10 at 15:02

You should provide some driver loader helper that will run as Administrator. You application (run as user) will contact that helper (run as Admin) that will (after security checks) install the driver.

On GNU/Linux it can be suid-root program. On Windows it can be some auto-start service.
