A client of ours is running a basic ASP classic web app under IIS 5.1 on Windows XP (32 bit) SP3. Accessing the site using http://localhost/ all works fine (just runs a little slow) until you get to a page with a reasonable amount of content on it, at which stage it takes forever to load and then times out before the page has loaded.

N.B. When I disable the wireless network adapter/disconnect from the network, the site runs at full speed again (infact, its unusually quick)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Keep the wireless adaptor disabled? – Mark Henderson Jul 23 '10 at 10:30
You need to do performance profiling to work out what aspect of the site is slowing interfacing (in some way) with your WLAN NIC. That question might be better asked on SO. – Richard Jul 23 '10 at 10:59
