I am looking for recommendations for a DC in Prague, for hosting a virtualization solution (several hosts, a small SAN, switches, routers) about half a rack with ~20mbps traffic to start with.

Does anyone know a suitable DC, or can advise against one maybe? I can see too many options, and no way of checking them.

Thanks

This is far too localised. Try the Prague phone book. – John Gardeniers Aug 8 '10 at 12:48
John, I've already received a bunch of price offers, ranging from very cheap to insanely expensive, for the same set of services, what I am really looking for is as much personal experiences from my colleagues here as I can get, because I am a total stranger to the Czezh IT "scene" – dyasny Aug 8 '10 at 20:25

This question is unlikely to ever help any future visitors; it is only relevant to a small geographic area, a specific moment in time, or an extraordinarily narrow situation that is not generally applicable to the worldwide audience of the internet. See the FAQ for guidance on how to improve it.

try gts - they are central european carrier and data center owner. i cannot comment on reliability of their services in Czech but they've got reasonably good reputation in Poland. i've used them directly as ISP and indirectly as collocation provider.

czech branch of GTS, collocation services provided by them in Prague .

probably they wont be the cheapest one....

Thanks, I've already got an offer from them, just wanted to hear about personal experience – dyasny Aug 8 '10 at 17:25

Talk to Tim Anker at Colo-x

They're good at matching customers to applicable datacentres world wide.

(I don't work for them, I've just had good success using them in the past.)
