I have multiple questions: 1. Is it advised to have IIS and TFS installed on the same machine? 2. What would be a pretty good configuration for both?

I am looking for a machine which I can setup as a DEV server.

Depending on your licensing options and availability, pick something that has good virtualization capabilities. I recently bought a Dell T610 which has been awesome as a Dev server.
