When I try to access SharePoint Designer 2010, I am repeatedly prompted to enter my credentials. I am running on a Windows 7 64 bit machine (in "Developer mode"). I select the designer from the home page from the site actions menu.

I tried this solution but it didn't work;

I have been Googling all day trying to fix this.

Is this problem affecting only your account or all accounts? Have you tried using the Farm administrator account to verify that it at least can design the site? – Chris W Sep 8 '10 at 17:48

So you're having problems doing what exactly? Opening the program, or opening a site within the program? – Chris S♦ Sep 8 '10 at 18:02
