Hiya, I've got a site hosted in the UK on a VPS, so I've got access via Plesk/Parallels. I want to know how much network bandwidth I've been allocated, and how much of that I'm using, but I can't find the data in my statistics reports. Any ideas how I can measure it? I'm an Apache/Linux noob, so go easy on the assumptions in your reply. Thanks

Without asking the hosting provider, you can only do a best guess. You can get an estimate by downloading a big file onto the VPS from some nearby hosts that is outside the hosting providers network. Time the downloads and guestimate the bandwidth. Anything you download or upload from your local network to the VPS is most likely going to be limited by your own ISP.

Do you have cPanel? If you have cPanel you can use the showbw API function and make a script with it.
