I'm trying to get phpmyadmin to work on my Mac OS X 10.6 setup. It was all working fine, but I'm now getting this error:

Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly.

Could someone explain what this means, how to fix it and why it's only just started happening?!?

I'm using the latest versions of PHP and Mysql and Apache that came bundled with the OS.

Did you check your webserver log files like it instructed you to? –  EEAA Sep 10 '10 at 13:19

1 Answer 1

I restarted Apache and for whatever reason this seems to have resolved the issue.
