I have a very strange issue. Have just setup Exchange 2010 on Win 2008 Server and it is running nicely. OWA works and I can connect to it using Outlook and so can many other users.

However, there are three users who cannot connect. I get the usual certificate issue error but Outlook still connects. These users who cannot connect then get the the error from Outlook that says that no connection to the Exchange server can be made.

I have read this article http://blog.aaronmarks.com/?p=65

and I have disabled IPv6 etc but we still have the same issue.

The key difference here is that most of us CAN access Exchange 2010 via Outlook but a few users can't.

Have been racking my brains on this and it surely looks like a client issue?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Amir

Did you use the CTRL+Left click on the icon to open the connection troubleshooter? – Coding Gorilla Sep 16 '10 at 17:30
The Simian said it best :). – Zephyr Pellerin Sep 16 '10 at 17:51
yes did use it and it shows a connection starting. Can telnet to the ports required for exchange too! – Amir Sep 16 '10 at 18:11
