i have a server with for example these NS records:

NS1.example.com
NS2.example.com

i want to add new NS records to my server. for these purpose i did the followings:

1.i entered child NS for a domain like example2.com (example2.com is on my server):

NS1.example2.com X.X.X.X (my server ip address)
NS2.example2.com X.X.X.X (my server ip address)

2.i added NS1.example2.com and NS2.example2.com to my DNS zone via WHM panel.

am i did it the right way?

If your records looks like this

example.com. IN NS ns1.example.com. ;master example.com. IN NS ns2.example.com. ;slave

are ok.
