Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am setting up a GuruPlug server which has two gigabyte Ethernet ports (eth0 & eth1) and one built-in wireless access point (uap0 by default).

I would love to be able to put the GuruPlug onto the internet (just plug eth0 into my LAN) and route all traffic through the WiFi AP through Tor.

In other words, I want to create a fully Torrified WiFi network broadcasting from the GuruPlug. I would like to authenticate to uap0, receive an IP address on a different subnet than the rest of my LAN and be on the Internet with traffic routed through TOR.

I have been tinkering with this all day, but my linux skills are pale, and I am sure that this is something other beginners like me would benefit from.

I have everything working except Torrified routing, of course. I am doing some single thing wrong that is escaping me. – user58004 Oct 23 '10 at 18:49
