I am looking for a new company to host my websites on.
I really like SliceHost, where the server is Unmanaged, but the service, support and hardware are very professional.
Can someone recommend a similar company but for Dedicated Servers?

Layered Technology worked ok for me. Always very responsive, and despite being unmanaged servers, their tech guys have been willing to go under the hood for me in the past. | |||

Managed hosting on a virtual layer or bare metal solution? Price might be a deciding factor so it all depends how much $ you put into the managed portion of the agreement. Some managed providers may only offer ping, pipe & protocol where others might go further and extend their managed agreement and offer Hardware (free replacements), Application and Performance and in addition if it is mission critical I know a few that offer 100% SLA uptime. A few that come to mind which I recommend are Rackspace, Logicworks & Terremark. All 3 of these offer the solutions you are looking for. If you have anymore questions let us know. | |||

I've been using Hetzner for a while now, and like them a lot. http://www.hetzner.de/page_en.htm - they're based in Germany, but have been extremely nice to work with even for a US-ian like me :) | |||
