I am trying to figure out what EC2 root drive is showing me at the moment and seems peculiar. The root drive is of 30GB and currently looking inside out of all the folders and programs installed there, I only see about 12GB of disk space being consumed, so there must be more than 10GB of free disk space after taking into account some disk space is consumed for any particular reasons. Why is there only 20MB of free disk space? when I should have at least 10GB of free disk space? I am newbie to AMazon EC2 so may be I have missed a thing or two in understanding root drives. Any help is highly appreciated.
The EC2 instance is a large memory instance with 7.5 GB of RAM, also has to two separate EBS drives, 100GB and 200GB.
