In a nutshell...
16Tb of total storage on a SAN. We currently use 7Tb of the SAN. We have 33 virtual servers and around 5 physical servers running SQL and Exchange. Backup window is Friday 5pm till Monday 6am. Current backup device is a Dell Tape Library with 2 x LTO3 tape drives.
I am looking at changing and updating the whole backup system so that we can try and have full 24/7 access for staff at home, so as little interruption as possible would be very useful. Do I stick with tape, go to disc ??
Any advice is very much appreciated.
