I'm looking into outsourcing our NOC to provide better service support 24x7x365. Do you have any suggestions on NOC outsourcing providers that I should look into?

We're running an EC2-deployed web application (total of 12 servers at this point) that runs (load-balanced) on relatively new tech (such as MongoDB, Node.js), so I'm looking for a provider that has some insight on these.

So, any recommendations? Or is there a reason why NOC shouldn't be outsourced? If you think so, I'd like to hear your arguments as well.

Edit: Modified title a bit, I'm not looking for support (i.e. user support), more monitoring maintenance. Previous title was maybe a bit misleading.

It depends up on what do you want to monitor. There are services like pingdom.com and hypersin.com which provides monitoring services and alert you when anything happens to application.

Thanks, but these services are not quite what I'm after. Currently Pingdom is configured to monitor the services, but instead of monitoring, the resources currently needed are those that react when something goes wrong. If possible, the resources that act on errors are what I'm looking to outsource. – TuomasR Nov 19 '10 at 20:49
