my website developer told me that Cron jobs are scheduled. but nothing seems to be getting updates on the website. Please suggest how / where to check the status of cron jobs execution. Please help.

If you have access to a control panel (like CPanel) I believe you can look in there for the cron entries. Otherwise, if you have SSH access to the server you could check the crontab by running 'crontab -l' (no quotes)

You can get the cron log created on the server. For the path of the file contact your system admin.

This is likely /var/log/cron.
