I have a Linksys spa 2002 device connected with voipbuster to call my friends abroad. I would like to know if i can fix the PAP device somehow that when someone calls me and i dont respond that my phone (new siemens wireless phone) shows that i had one unanswered call.

I don't need to know the actual number i just need that i have a notice, so i can check latter in the logs of the device who called me...

Thanks!!!

That depends on your phone, ATA device just forwards this call to your analog phone and the phone rings and memorizes that ring or not. I have a Siemens C475IP (VoIP) and it shows missed calls.

thanks for your prompt answer! If i plug the same phone in the Telecom line it shows missed calls, so i guess it was a setting from the Sipura device.. – Elgreco08 Nov 26 '10 at 9:31
Strange.... because: when the call gets to the phone, it is already on it, so the Sipura made its job, phone KNOWS that it rings... I will look into some options on the Sipura (I have 10s of 2102 deployed and neither shows that behaviour - faxes are connected) but I don't promise anything. – Icapan Nov 26 '10 at 9:52
Yes its strange, maybe its related to the phone. When someone calls the phone shows "Jonh" is calling, but if i dont answer, the phone dont show that someone called me. May be the phone has the problem with ASCII chars ? I should try with a non siemens phone – Elgreco08 Nov 26 '10 at 9:55
If you think the problem is with Caller ID, try to change Caller ID Method: in Voice->Regional Settings at the bottom or Supplementary Service Settings in User 1. – Icapan Nov 26 '10 at 10:44
