I want to have my own proxy server. Someone told me to have openvpn proxy server. Is that right? If it is right can any one tell me how to do that, and if it is not what is the solution for this problem? Thinking that I will connect to the server through a proxy server.

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. See the FAQ for guidance on how to improve it.

I thing you have fierst ti configure proxyserver like Squid" After that you have to install and configure openvpn server. And then you can add ip (vpn) in proxy server.

If you have access to a Linux box in the outside world, it's trivial to use an SSH tunnel to provide a local SOCKS proxy: http://embraceubuntu.com/2006/12/08/ssh-tunnel-socks-proxy-forwarding-secure-browsing/

You've not given nearly enough information about what the problem you are trying to solve is - all you've given is a very vaguue description of a solution ("I want to have my own proxy server"). A VPN is not the same thing as a proxy. Please describe the problem you think a proxy server will help with and any constraints (budget, skills, existing software/protocols).
