Our server's been listed as having "poor" reputation with http://www.senderbase.org/ and it's causing a lot of our emails to be bounced.

Given that we do not send out large volumes of email intentionally, and our IP is not black listed, we are understandably confused as to why.

Does anyone have any ideas for resolving this, or what to look for on our server with regards to virus/trojans etc?

I manage our server and have an "intermediate" knowledge of it, but the real technical stuff is a mystery to me.

If you need any more information please don't hesitate to ask (short of the server IP I'm afraid). I have full access via SSH etc

edit Sorry, more information **

using:

  • WHM 11.28.45
  • CENTOS 5.5 i686 standard
  • Exim 4.69
  • not sure what firewall we have (if any - how would i find out?)

appears to only be affecting one domain, has been perfect for the last 8 months.
