Here's the problem. I have local mail delivery disabled on my server for several domains (the domains have been removed from the "Local Domains File" and put in the "Remote Domains File") and email is handled by Google Apps. One would expect it to stay that way, however on two occasions for unknown reasons all the domains got removed from the Remote file and ended up back in the local file and all of the email that was coming in through our website contact form was lost. The problem is that sometimes it takes several days to realize that this has happened. I'd like to setup some kind of automated system that automatically sends me a daily test email through the same mechanism that my php contact form uses. That way if I don't receive an email I'll know that there is a problem. Any suggestions? Also, I have no idea what I am doing so if you are willing to help, please be very specific and don't assume I know anything about what you are talking about (because I probably don't).
