We've got some older 4GB Windows 2003 based Citrix XenApp servers and they have a page file size of 6144MB, i.e. 1.5 x 4GB.

However, I've built a new Windows 2003 R2 XenApp system and it won't let me set the page file to anything >4GB.

Was this upper limit introduced in R2?

Thanks, Rob.

Were your old boxes 64-bit, and the new one 64-bit? – mfinni Dec 21 '10 at 21:51
Does the new server support PAE and DEP? – joeqwerty Dec 21 '10 at 23:18
Boxes are identical hardware sort of - these are virtual operating systems – Rob Nicholson Dec 22 '10 at 15:58
