I installed Exchange Server 2007 SP3, and when I send an email I get an error.

Here is my error message.

here at Server Fault, "bumping" your posts by posting an answer is not how we do things. If you have more information to add, you can always edit your question and it will then go to the top of the front page again. – Ben Pilbrow Jan 23 '11 at 12:58
I'm so sorry Ben. Thanks for your warning. – Cell-o Jan 23 '11 at 13:03
Don't worry about it - we were all new once :-) If you haven't already, you might want to give the FAQ a quick read. Hope you get an answer to your question! – Ben Pilbrow Jan 23 '11 at 13:10

Where is your ad server? Is it on the same machine?

The part

The supplied credential for 'MAILSERVER\Administrator' on Bind operation is invalid.

...concerns me a little. Especially when the rest of the error says your AD server is 'server.techsoft.local'. It looks like exchange is trying to query AD with 'MAILSERVER\Administrator' (local admin) which AD would have no knowledge of (unless AD is local to the machine and the domain actually is 'MAILSERVER' making Administrator the domain administrator...). Can you check the user roles on the server (Organization Configuration screen)?

Have you run the BPA tools in the toolbox?

first and foremost, which server platform are you running your exchange server 2007 on? 2003 or 2008??? huge difference between the two. Two: are your DNS entries referenced by AD correct and pointing to to your exchange server? Exchange Server 2007 be default adds "administrator" to the Exchange Administrator Group, so this is normal. I would give close attention to any erroneous key strokes -- spaces and the like in your supplied password. Lastly, how many DC's do you have in your domain? If more than one, try forcing a replication between AD DC's; also check why using LDAP if using AD -- is this server in a DMZ? Exchange server 2007 in a DMZ must have an "Edge Subscription", subsequent entry in DNS as well. But this seems more like a password annomoly. This seems to be the case -- reference: technet.com --> support --> Exchange server: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrmigration/thread/98e26ad6-8e43-4ef5-8ff9-e9fee6e76bda/

Hope some of these help.

Cheers
