Looks like the /opt/perl folder was deleted, and now most tools are not coming up (including wpar manager, suma etc..)

bash-3.00# lppchk -c perl.libext lppchk: 0504-206 File /opt/perl/installsitearch/LibExt/Getopts.pm could not be located. lppchk: 0504-206 File /opt/perl/installsitearch/auto/LibExt/StatFS/StatFS.so could not be located. lppchk: 0504-206 File /opt/perl/installsitearch/auto/LibExt/CatGetS/CatGetS.so could not be located. lppchk: 0504-206 File /opt/perl/installsitearch/LibExt/libext_msg.pm could not be located. lppchk: 0504-206 File /opt/perl/installsitearch/auto/LibExt/Socket/Socket.so could not be located. lppchk: 0504-206 File /opt/perl/installsitearch/auto/LibExt/Passwd could not be located. lppchk: 0504-206 File /opt/perl/installsitearch/LibExt could not be located.

What is the best way to deal with this ? I am unable to remove the package using smit because looks like a lot of packages depend on perl.libext ..

Can i just reinstall the package in another location to fix this ?

Why don't you just restore /opt/perl from a backup?
