Edit:

I could not upgrade directly from WinNT Server to Windows 2003. So I upgraded WinNT to Win2000 Server(luckily no SCSI issues at all ), and now am thinking of upgrading Win2000 to Win2003.

Thanks

Hi All,

I have a Windows NT running on VMWare and I want to upgrade it to Windows 2003.

I am facing an issue because the SCSI driver that is listed is BusLogic, and Windows 2003 is not able to proceed with that. So I installed the driver for LSI Logic (on the NT machine)., however, when I go to vmware settings, and when I try to change the SCSI controller, only BusLogic is listed, All forums say that I should be able to "select LSI Logic" from the list - but in my case, it is not at all listed.

Any workarounds??

Thanks

VMWare is a company - they have several virtualisation products, which one are you referring to ? – Iain Feb 7 '11 at 18:48
