How can I simulate 802.11 with WEP encryption on a wire or within a single system?

Thanks, Chenz

What exactly do you want to simulate? – Jacob Feb 10 '11 at 12:06
I want test wireless encryption hacking without using wireless hardware. – Crazy Chenz Feb 10 '11 at 12:12
I'm not the most knowledgeable in this area; but I believe a lot of the WEP and related functions are implemented in hardware, so you'd need specialized software to simulate the whole stack. – Chris S Feb 10 '11 at 13:59

I want to enjoy eating a delicious BLT sangwich, but I don't want to use bread or vegetables and I'm an orthodox Jew - can I use fish, engine oil and nutmeg instead? – Chopper3 Feb 10 '11 at 16:14

Chopper3: I want to cook pancakes, but I have no skillet, perhaps a pan will do? – Crazy Chenz Feb 14 '11 at 12:44
