I cannot figure out how to login to phpMyAdmin as root/admin on my Plesk VPS? I can log in as individual users but I wish to login as root so that I can play around with privaliages. Any ideas?

I know the admin username/password, but since PMA appears to be embedded in Plesk I cannot figure out how to switch user.

All help appreciated.

Surely this is a question for your VPS provider? –  dunxd Feb 15 '11 at 13:07

I am the provider. I have physical access to the VPS. –  KingyCronus Feb 15 '11 at 13:30

@dunxd I am guessing I might have installed Plesk wrong, as I cannot seem to find a way to get into pma with admin. –  KingyCronus Feb 15 '11 at 13:37

Ok, it turns out I was being a fool and had been trying to access the server from the wrong page.

The correct way is from the Plesk root rather than from the domain account.
