Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

We recently shifted to 2008 R2 server from 2003 server but our performance of the site really took a hit. I thought it should help us are missing some config setting.

Our app was developed on .net framework 4.0 , SQL Server 2008 R2 is installed on both the machines and a netcp service is as well running on both of them.

I did disable ipv6 on firefox but that as well did not give great results and instead of doing it on client level should not that be done on a server level ?

Sorry, you pretty much give no sensible information about what possibly could go wrong. Only real answer at the moment is "check your network setup, then the server settings". –  TomTom Feb 17 '11 at 7:31
Can you please tell what information will help you understand the problem better? Thanks! –  saarthak Feb 17 '11 at 8:25
