I have a primary static IP and 2 routed IPs coming into my TMG 2010 server. Listeners have been created to handle incoming connections to Exchange 2010 in the internal network. Rules using the listener on the primary IP work as expected. The rules listening on one of the routed IPs seem to be ignored (I see logged traffic that should match the rule but not detected by the rule).

I have manually added the routed IPs to the adapter which establishes the connection to the ISP. These routed IPs have also been added to a new Network in TMG.

Does anyone have any hints on how routed IPs should be configured? Am I missing something simple here?

Can you describe "routed IPs" in more detail? IPs that exist behind the TMG box as a router, or IPs you want to use for outbound communications? – TristanK Mar 15 '11 at 10:09
Routed IPs in that I have a subnet of public IPs that are routed to my ADSL connection via the ISP. I ended up figuring it out (although I'm not 100% sure about the logic behind it). Originally the TMG box was dialing (PPPoE) the ISP through my modem/router. I changed so that the modem/router dialed and routed all traffic to TMG box. Something about all inbound IPs coming on the same interface? I don't know. – Nigel Whatling Mar 18 '11 at 0:54
