Does anyone know if it is possible to do the following with asterisk...

there are 2 users, John and Betty

  1. John calls -> asterisk accepts the call

  2. asterisk dials Betty and asks for DTMF input(accept/decline)

  3. DTMF from Betty

3(a) Betty presses 1(accept) -> asterisk connects Jon+Betty

3(b) Betty presses whatever except 1 or hangs up -> John hears sound "Betty does not want to talk to you" and is disconnected too.

Not sure how can explain it more clearly...

any help would be greatly appreciated.

uhh sounds like you are re-inventing CallerID ... except with the extra step of Betty needs to answer phone and accept/decline instead of just not picking calls she doesn't want ... is there a reason why your users want to actively accept/decline instead of just ignoring calls they don't want? – Zypher♦ Feb 28 '11 at 16:53
Yes, Betty would be charged for the call if she accepts, thats why she needs to press 1 to accept it and pay the price of the call. – Vladas Freimanas Mar 1 '11 at 10:49
Actually my question can be answered with asterisk Dial with option "p", but I need to be able to execute some script once Betty presses 1. Is there a way of doing that? – Vladas Freimanas Mar 1 '11 at 14:23
