I have an EVDO internet connection which is packaged in the form of a USB Device. What I want to do is to make this Internet connection available to all the wifi devices in my home such as laptops, IPhones, IPads etc. Now, I understand that I have to buy a wireless router to do such a thing but my question is that this EVDO device comes with a special software through which Internet connection is established on a PC.

Can I configure a wireless router to connect to internet through this small software? Furthermore, are there any wireless routers specially designed for taking input from a USB EVDO device? I have done similar thing with a DSL connection but I am not sure about EVDO USB connection. Anybody got any experience with such a thing?

@John Gardeniers: Right, so this means that I should not ask questions here that are related to home-based servers. But I wonder what would be the ideal site for this kind of questions? I thought this was very closely related to SF and it's users. I guess the question will be valid if I replace the word 'my home' with 'my office' :) – Aamir Mar 2 '11 at 11:55
Super User is the appropriate site, as mentioned in the FAQ. This question will get moved there as soon as 3 more people vote accordingly.
