I have a serial number on back of my laptop, but I don't have a Windows CD. How can I download it in order to install?

Your best course of action would be to contact the company you purchased the laptop from and ask for replacement media from them. If its an OEM Key you're out of luck, you will need to buy a new OS as I understand the Windows 7 Licenses OEM are definitely one use licenses now. If its a retail license sticker, then you may be able to contact your local Microsoft Support Center who may supply you with replacement media but they're under no obligation too. (I've met one person who was successful in doing this - your mileage may vary :)) | |||
