We have an ESX server which is managed via VMware lab manager. When the root password is changed on the vmware ESX machine, this causes problems with lab manager, it gives errors for each VM about the "agent" not running.

Is there a setting on lab manager I need to change, to update the new root password and get things working again?

In the past I have just changed the password back and rebooted, but we need to change the password now for security reasons
