Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have tryed various things to get this to work and it is not working could my problem be that my directory main page is a classic asp page

1. disabled annonymous users gave everyone read access to the directory made sure it was considered a trusted site enabled ntlm and windows authentication

2. annonymous users on no read access to directory made sure it was considered a trusted site enabled ntlm and windows authentication

alright so i got it to work but for some reason the intranet settings in ie have to be on force authentication.

I had to make the asp.net page a seperate application

another issue is it still is showing iusr as the user in my application
