We have two terminal servers in our firm with a lot of applications installed bacause all kinds of different users connect to it using thin clients. I would like to be able to allow only certain users to be able to execute certain applications. I know there is a way using GPO's, but I'd prefer a somewhat simpler solution. I'm quite new to all of this, so your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

imho using GPOs is the simple way. Especially if you need to co-ordinate access between the two machines. – DJ Pon3 Mar 30 '11 at 11:21
As Robert stated, use the tool that's built for the job... Group Policy. – joeqwerty Mar 30 '11 at 13:23
