While i would have no problem with the box being that fast I don't think thats really accurate.

$ iotop

Total DISK READ: 10.64 P/s | Total DISK WRITE: 34.38 T/s

From searching I've found some mentions that this could be a suse specific Problem but no solutions.

Is there any alternative that would get me reliable values? Is it just a wrong offset and i can trust the values?

@Cakemox It's possible, but not while the program was running. It shows those values seconds after starting – edorian Apr 9 '11 at 21:32
