Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I use the Plesk panel for my site. The panel works fine whenever I'm on a hardwired internet connection or my own personal wifi. However when I use my university's wifi, which reassigns the IP address every few seconds, Plesk constantly boots me off.

What would be the best way to get around this problem for consistent Plesk usage?

I think there is another problem if your IP is getting reassigned 'every few seconds'. Plesk has no idea that you are the same user from before, so it doesn't know what to do. I think you're approaching this from the wrong end.
