So I have a server using Windows 2008. On this I have Active Directory which has each user home directory set to the share drive and %username% so it creates a folder with their name and permissions for them to access it. I have checked and verified that they have full permission to use this drive.
I have then added folder re-direction to %username%\Documents for example. In group policy I also added a folder creation policy to create the Documents folder within the user share.
However each time a user signs on the documents folder remains with the original and the event viewer logs an access denied message for trying to create the folder. If I sign on with a user account and try to create a folder, sure enough it says I do not have permission. Am I missing something obvious here?
