cpanel security and optimisation

I have just got a new server with cpanel/WHM i want to know how i can increase the cpanel security plus optimization of it. All replies are welcome..

The best way is to install firewall CSF, which is having a plugin in WHM. Check the following URL to install CSF, which is quite simple.

You can harden the firewall security by performing the system security check. To do this go to Cpanel WHM > CSF Firewall & Security > Check System Security. There it will list WARNINGS based on your server. The following URl will help you with this.
