I'm willing to create a machine specifically installed with a set of software and redistribute it as a paid AMI that users can use.

My questions are :

  • If I bundle such a paid AMI, will the customer buying this AMI be able to login to this AMI using an administrator account and access/modify the files, software etc...
  • Can this AMI be resold by the customer, or can I set this AMI as non transferrable so it cannot be resold with my software inside ?
  • I have read that rebundling a Windows AMI makes an AMI with the same product code. Does it mean exactly that it replaces the previous AMI ?

Thank you very much for your help.

Pierre.
